Time to clean your winter coat?

Do you wear your winter coat over and over throughout the season and then hang it up in your closet, ready for the next winter? I always did that – time to put away the winter clothes and the coats. But then I read about all the germs from body fluids and all the items that one comes into contact with when wearing a coat. Riding on a bus, sitting at the airport, sitting in an auditorium. It’s amazing how much bacteria, fungi and other things are on our clothes and especially our coats since they cover us throughout the season. I highly recommend cleaning your winter clothes and especially your coat or coats before the cooler season comes along again. That’s right around the corner. Wash it in the washing machine if you can or dry clean the coat if that’s the only way to clean it. It’s worth it!
