Chelsie Hill was a teenager when she was injured in a car driven by her friend, who had been drinking.  He crashed into a tree.  Chelsie became paralyzed from the waist down due to a spinal cord injury and was told that she couldn’t walk. This beautiful girl, with her whole life ahead of her, could have felt bitter and angry for the rest of her life.  But Chelsie’s story is one of inspiration because she chose to live her life to the fullest in spite of the accident.  Her story is so amazing that it would make many people feel ashamed for worrying about the little things in life that prevent them from enjoying their lives.

Chelsie always loved to dance.  And that’s exactly what she has continued to do.  Even though she is in a wheelchair, she has put together a dance club called The Rollettes.  It includes other beautiful women whom she reached out to in order to start her dance club.  The other women are disabled physically but like Chelsie, they can dance in a wheelchair and enjoy themselves immensely.  They perform in shows and everyone is in awe of their talent.

The key to Chelsie’s happiness is that she reached out to other women to dance with her and to bond in the ways that women love to do.  She also met the love of her life and got married.  Then she had a beautiful baby girl.  She has two dogs (bulldogs are her favorite).  So Chelsie is living a life that shows you can overcome setbacks if you reach out and find the good in life.  Chelsie could have become a recluse and not interact with anyone after the car crash.  But she chose to have a social life and reach out to people.  She found out that there are a lot of caring people who have helped her move ahead.  Certainly there have been challenges along the way but she keeps on going.

Chelsie is now well-known since she has been on some top-rated shows.  She has appeared on “Little Big Shots” hosted by Melissa McCarthy, Sundance Channel’s “Push Girls”, Adam Levine’s “Sugar”, The “Ellen Show”, etc.  Chelsie now works as a public speaker, dancer with the Rollettes, an advocate for people with disabilities, marketing guru, and entrepreneur.
