Do you believe in reincarnation? The University of Virginia has done extensive research and they have a department at their medical school called the Division of Perceptual Studies. The research is fascinating and they have performed in-depth interviews with children who appear to have lived another life. The department is headed by Dr. Jim Tucker, a professor of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences. The department is evaluating empirical evidence that suggests consciousness survives death and that mind and brain are distinct and separable.
Some of the books available through the UVA Department of Perceptual Studies include “Children Who Remember Previous Lives” and “Life Before Life.” Whether you believe in the subject or not, the publications are highly worth reading and there are various talks on the subject through the University of Virginia. Has science missed something in its research on past experience? It certainly is worth discovering what the research is all about.

It’s an interesting topic. I’d like to learn more. There must be something to it if UVA researches the subject.
