I always read about LASIK to improve vision. My doctor is older and I know he is a very accomplished doctor. So why does he still wear glasses? Couldn’t he get LASIK to improve his vision? I asked him that and he said he would if it would correct his vision for reading.

I read that you may still need to wear glasses or contact lenses following laser vision correction. Even if it helps with the prescription strength, I would still have to wear reading glasses. They drive me nuts. I lose them, they break and I think they are ugly on my face. I think LASIK is too much work for me. Until I see my doctor without glasses, I won’t do it for now.
