I have a wife and three children and they all complain about my snoring. I’ve tried patches, a mouthpiece, various gimmicks I heard about on the radio, sleeping on my back and I lost weight (although not that much). So now I am going to try surgery. My doctor suggested “UPPP” – the real name is too hard to pronounce. But you are given full anesthesia and then your doctor “tightens and trims” excess tissues from your throat. It sounds scary to me but if it works I will try it. There is also a newer option called hypoglossal nerve stimulation so that the tongue does not block the air passage when you breathe.

That sounds like some spooky options. I’m going to have a “sleep test” with a doctor. I hear you about the family complaining about snoring
