Good news for medicare patients: the CMS (centers for medicare and medicaid services) is set to increase medicare reimbursements hospitals receive for CCTA (coronary computed tomography angiography) exams. That means that in 2025 the payment reimbursement rate will go from $175 to $357.13. That’s good news for everyone who needs this cardiac imaging exam. I know that many people in healthcare have been advocating for this. Right on.
