I’ve often wondered if your eyes get smaller as you age. That’s because I’ve noticed my grandmother’s eyes seem much smaller now. Well, after reading a lot of information about it (and I asked my eye doctor), your eyes don’t get smaller but they do look smaller. The surrounding skin ages and droops over your eye. I noticed that eyes look hollow too, like they are deeper in a person’s face.
I read that the pupil becomes smaller as we age. I never thought about it until I read that and I started looking at older eyes. The process of aging seems so strange since there are so many physical changes.
