I sometimes get bladder infections at odd hours such as in the middle of the night or right before bed. The other night it was so painful that I couldn’t sleep for the rest of the night. I called my doctor and fortunately, she was available via video (zoom office visit). She prescribed antibiotics but then I had to drive to the pharmacy. Meanwhile, I had suffered all night and morning. What is the solution if you get a bladder infection and need immediate care? I also don’t like to go to urgent care in the middle of the night because I’m in severe pain.
There are 24-hour virtual doctors online but you still have to wait for a prescription. I get UTI’s often so I save a few pills in case of an emergency to hold me over for a few hours until I can get to the pharmacy. I usually get antibiotics and pain medication when I get a bladder infection.
