I got a chest x-ray a few months ago, and while I didn’t think too hard about it then, I have recently begun to wonder whether x-rays are always accurate? Obviously, there are x-rays for many different conditions, and so I am specifically wondering about chest x-rays, one of the more popular occurrences of x-rays. I put a lot of faith in the doctor, and I am sure most people do, and so I want a definite answer to the question of whether x-rays are accurate?

It depends on the skill of the radiologist but a chest X-ray should not be that complicated. You can always get a second opinion if you are worried
